British Motor Museum To Re-Open In February 2016

If you are a classic car enthusiast then you will be pleased to read that the British Motor Museum is to re-open to the public on the 13th February 2016. You may have known it when it was called the Heritage Motor Centre but it has been renamed following a major refurbishment that has cost a significant sum of money.

The British Motor Museum proudly displays many vintage vehicles.

The British Motor Museum reopens this month when you can see even more British built vehicles than previously.

Whether you have a keen interest in classic cars or are mildly interested you will enjoy your day at the above museum. On display are dozens of classic vehicles built in Britain. Guided tours are available to add to your day. Various events are planned such as a World War 1 History weekend on the 1st and 2nd October 2016 and a Museum At Night – Torch Light Tour on the 28th October of this year,

There are interactive exhibits and stories of the motor industry in Britain enabling you to learn all about classic cars of various periods. You can also watch what is happening in the new restoration workshop.

There is a huge selection of classic cars to view including some from the Jaguar Heritage Trust. For instance, you can see classic cars built by well known manufacturers such as British Leyland, Austin, Morgan, Morris, Vauxhall and Ford.

There is a shop where you can purchase a variety of goods such as a tax disc holder along with replica tax discs, mugs and cuff links. You can buy a Heritage Document Wallet that includes a Heritage Certificate and Technical Specification of a classic vehicle. There is also a café where you can enjoy a drink and get something to eat.

The British Motor Museum is located near Gaydon in Warwickshire and can be easily and quickly accessed via Junction 12 of the M40. Being centrally located in the UK, it attracts people from all over the country. We hope that you enjoy the experience of seeing many classic British cars.
