If you are a classic car enthusiast then you may have had a dream about finding a classic vehicle in a barn. The excitement of seeing such a vehicle that has been hidden away for so many years is no doubt extremely high.

Well, this is just what has happened to someone near Bridgnorth in Shropshire. A 1971 Aston Martin DBS has been discovered in a barn. Apparently, it has been tucked away for in excess of 40 years. It is one of only 120 that were built so it is very rare. It is in need of some tender loving care and is presently being restored. It is said to have 61,892 miles on the clock meaning that it is very low mileage.

Apparently, it has been estimated that the car could be worth in the region of £170,000 once the vehicle has been restored. That is a significant sum of money.

Over the years, there have been a number of classic cars that have been discovered in barns and these do sometimes come up for sale at auction so you might like to keep your eyes open. It could prove to be a tremendous opportunity to become the proud owner of a classic car that may have a very low mileage.

Of course, the Aston Martin is known around the world not least because it is driven by James Bond in the 007 movies that have been released over a very long period of time. A James Bond film was due to be released this year but this has been postponed presumably due to the pandemic.
