South West Vehicle Auctions (SWVA) from Poole is to hold its Autumn Classic Car Auction on the 30th October 2020 at 10am with viewing by appointment only from 26th October to 29th October. There are a number of interesting vehicles being offered for sale full details of which can be found on the auction house’s website but we mention some below: –

A red 1969 Triumph GT6 sports car is being offered for sale with no reserve as a non runner. It has been owned by the same family since 1984. This classic sports car sounds like it could be an interesting restoration project for someone.

Why not take a look at a pale green 1965 Hillman Super Minx four-door family saloon that has been in the same family ownership since it was manufactured. It is said to have 70,739 miles on the clock and has an estimated sale price of between £2,900 to £3,500. It was restored in 2011/2012. It has an MOT until April 2021.

How about a 1983 Austin Metro City that has an estimated sale price of between £700 to £950 that just goes to show you do not have to maintain a huge bank balance to pick up a classic car. This classic car has a very low mileage of 20,550.

Why not take a look at a 1978 MG B GT two-door sports car that has a very low mileage of 23,000 and has an estimated sale price of £2,500 to £2,750. It has been in its present ownership for over 5 years and has been used on a regular basis.

A grey 1958 Rover 1058 is being offered for sale with an estimated price of between £2,000 to £2,900. It is said to only have 33,350 miles on the clock. Apparently, only 3,500 of these cars were built. It has a 108bhp engine. It has been kept in dry storage since 2005 and has two previous owners.

If you like sports cars then why not peruse a green 1966 MG Midget MK11 that is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £2,900 to £3,250. It is said to have only 31,234 miles on the clock.

A black 1954 Austin A30 Seven with only 56,951 miles on the clock is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £2,900 to £3,300. It has a heater. It has the original logbook.

As you can see, you don’t have to be a wealthy individual to purchase a classic car so why not get along to the above auction and see if there is something that appeals.
