In fact, he has sold 27 of his classic car collection at a recent auction conducted by the well-known business Iconic Auctioneers at Silverstone. Those vehicles apparently were sold for in the region of £2.9 million.

The classic car that achieved the highest sale price in Anthony Hamilton’s collection was a Jaguar XJ220. It was sold for £506,250. It sounds like it was quite a rare classic car as only 69 right hand ones were manufactured for the car market in the UK. This particular car only had 3,277 miles on the clock making it an extremely low-mileage vehicle. This model has its bodywork painted in Silverstone Green Metallic. It came with a good service history.

There were 5 other classic cars that sold for over £100,000 each in Anthony Hamilton’s collection which just goes to show that there are still people out their with money to spend despite the economic climate seen not only here in the UK but around the world as well.
