It doesn’t happen very often but just occasionally someone opens the door of a barn and finds a collection of classic cars. Well, that is just what has happened somewhere in the South of England leading to the discovery of seven classic vehicles.

To say that all these classic cars and land rover are in need of some serious tender loving restoration work and care would be an understatement but hopefully one or more classic car enthusiasts who welcome a challenge will dig deep into their pockets to purchase and do up these vintage vehicles over what could potentially be an extended period of time. Hopefully, all that work and expense that will no doubt be required will be well worth the while.

The classic cars are to be auctioned by Anglia Car Auctions on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August 2023. However, you can view the vehicles on either Thursday 17th August 2023 or Friday 18th August 2023 between 9am to 4pm. They are all available to buy without reserve.

If you are interested in Jaguar E-Types then you have the choice of no less than 3 classic sports cars. There is a 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 S11 Roadster whose coachwork is in Pale Primrose Yellow. It is an open-topped sports vehicle. There is a 1970 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 S11 FHC whose bodywork is in Sable. There is also a 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster S11 whose coachwork is in Silver. Do bear in mind that all these cars are in need of an awful lot of restoration work.

There are also 3 AC ACE classic sports cars with 2 of them being open-topped and the other one a coupe. Their dates are 1955, 1957 and 1959. As with the E-Types, they are all in need of a significant amount of work needing to be done on them that will presumably involve a lot of money needing to be spent on them.

There is also a 1951 Land Rover Series 1 80 that is looking rather worse for wear and looks like it will require someone with a great deal of patience and expert restoration capabilities to restore it.

A challenge indeed for one or more people interested in restoring classic cars.
