Those of you with an interest in purchasing a classic car will be aware that there are many places that you can buy such a vehicle. One such place is at a classics car auction of which there are many. You only have to type something like “classic car auctions@ into your Internet browser and you will be presented with a number of auctioneers’ websites one of whom is H & H Classics.
The above auctioneers are to hold an auction of classic cars on the 9th April 2025 at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridgeshire. You will find a list of classic cars on their website but we mention just a few of them below. Viewing times are from 12pm on Tuesday 8th April 2025 and Wednesday 9th April 2025 from 9am.
There are many fans of Ferraris so you may be interested to read that a 1977 Ferrari 512 BB “Wide Body” is being offered for sale with an estimated sale price of between £150,000 to £170,000. It has had one owner since new and has less than 6,000 miles on the clock. We are sure that you will agree that is an exceedingly low mileage for a classic car of such an age. Its bodywork is in Rosso Chiaro and it has black leather seating. Only 101 right hand drive ones were supplied to the UK. It is believed to have been well maintained over the years.
You might like to cast your eyes over a 1973 Lamborghini Espada that has an estimated sale price of between £70,000 to £90,000. It is said to be 1 of around 130 Lamborghini Espada Series 111s right hand drives manufactured. It is interesting to read that it only has around 67,000 miles on the clock. The present owner is said to have had it fully recommissioned since 2022. It is said to be capable of 155mph.
There are a number of Jaguar E-Types being offered for sale so if you do favour this manufacturer why not take the opportunity to visit the auction. One of these is a 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Roadster with an estimated sale price of between 360,000 to £80,000. It is right hand drive. It was overhauled cosmetically a couple of years ago. It comes with a Jaguar heritage certificate.
