If you happen to be a fan of classic Range Rovers, you may be interested to read that one recently came up for auction and achieved a sale price far in excess of its estimated sale price. It is no doubt very rare for a vehicle of its age to be offered for sale with such a low mileage.
The vehicle in question came up at auction with Anglia Car Auctions at its auction that took place on the 31st January 2026 and the 1st February 2026.
The 1994 Range Rover LSE 4.2 V8 Auto was offered for sale at an estimated sale price of between £30,000 to £50,000. Well, would you believe it, the classic car went for a staggering £119,880 including premium. That is more than twice its estimated sale price.
The car had a mere 756 miles on the clock – yes just seven hundred and fifty six miles. How often have you come across a car of that age with such a low mileage?
When new the car was sold for £38,400. It only had one registered keeper who sadly passed away not along after taking possession of the Range Rover. It was never used by his widow who regrettably passed away last year.
When it was serviced on the 11th October 1994 it had a mere 200 miles on the clock.
Its bodywork is in Beluga Black and it has a leather interior in Ash Grey. It was sold with the registration plate NEB 58.
There were many other classic cars sold at the above auction such as a 1995 Jaguar XJ-S 4.0 Convertible Auto that had an estimated sale price of between £9,000 to £11,000 but achieved a sale price of £12,852 including premium. If you take a look on the auctioneer’s website you will see just how stunning this car looks and will no doubt catch the eye of many passers by. It has an MOT until 10th December 2026. It has 99,902 miles on the clock. It is said to be in superb condition.
A 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 2+2 LHD had an estimated sale price of between £22,000 to £26,000 and ended up being sold for £27,540 including premium. It has a 4.2 litre engine. There is a mere 67,397 miles showing on the clock making it a low mileage for its age. It is left hand drive and came over to the UK from the USA in 2014.
A 1961 Humber Super Snipe Series 111 had an estimated sale price of between £2,500 to £3,500 but was sold for £8,856 including premium. It had been in the same ownership for 15 years until being sold at the above auction and prior to that only had one other owner. It has 92,900 miles on the clock. Its bodywork had been restored over the last 5 years.
