One of the popular ways of buying a classic car is at an auction. There you will usually find a variety of vehicles to choose from being offered with a selection of prices.
Brightwells Ltd is shortly to hold an online auction but with the option of viewing the cars in person at their classic car department at Easters Court, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 ODE between 9am to 5pm on Monday 30th March 2026 and Tuesday 31st March 2026. Bidding opens from 10am Saturday 28th March 2026 and bidding closes on Wednesday 1st April 2016 at 11.01am.
Below we mention just a few of the classic cars being offered for sale but a full list is available on the auctioneer’s website.
If you fancy a sports car why not take a good look at a 1971 Triumph GT6 that comes with an estimated sale price of between £8,500 to £10,500. It has been in the same ownership since December 2010. Its bodywork is in red and it has a six-cylinder 1998cc engine and a manual gearbox. Apparently, the classic sports car has been kept in dry storage for in excess of 10 years. It is said to be in beautiful condition.
How about something a little different to the aforementioned – a 1969 Morris Minor that has an estimated sale price of between £4,500 to £6,500. This 2 door classic car has a 1,098cc engine with a manual gearbox. Amazingly, it has been in the same family’s ownership from new during which time it has done a mere 22,800 miles. This delightful car is certainly worth casting your eyes over.
What about a 1978 Volkswagen Bay Window Camper that has an estimated sale price of between £14,500 to £16,500. It has a 1,970cc engine and a manual gearbox. It only has 71,128 miles on the clock. The vehicle has been in dry storage for the last 10 years. Its bodywork is in Marino Yellow. Its interior is original including a pop-up roof.
A 1946 Triumph Roadster 1800 with an estimated sale price of between £20,000 to £25,000 will undoubtedly catch the eyes of many passers by. Imagine driving through the countryside on a summer’s day with the sun shining and the roof down with the wind swirling through your hair. It has a 1,776cc engine and a manual gearbox. It was subject to a full restoration in 2010. Since then it has been driven a mere 6,300 miles. It has had gearbox rebuild at a cost of £4,000 and a respray costing £6,000 that was carried out not too long ago. This is believed to be a sought after make and model.
