Tucked away in Old Street, London EC1 is the little known The Classic Car Club that was formed in 1995.

There are many private gentlemen’s clubs in London but this is a little different. For a joining fee of £500 plus a more substantial regular renewable membership payment you can take a number of different classic cars (and some other special cars as well) out for a spin.

Whether you fancy driving a car from the 1970’s such as a Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Fiat 500 or a motorbike there is a huge selection to choose from.

Driving classic cars on a regular basis is possible through The Classic Car Club

The Classic Car Club enables you to drive similar cars to this Jaguar E-Type.

You don’t have to worry about restoring them, insuring them, cleaning them after you have used one or forking out £100,000 to buy one. It is a bit like your grandchild – you like to have him or her for the day and spoil the little darling but it’s nice when you can drop the little one back to the parents who can wash and tuck the child up in bed.

Dependent upon how much you pay will result in you receiving x number of points. Each car uses x points per day based upon the type of vehicle it is so a Fiat 500 from the 1970’s would not use as many of your points as say an Aston Martin from the 1070’s. You even have unlimited mileage. It is a great way to run a classic car without the other expenses associated with such cars.

If that is a little too much for your purse strings why not try a classic car experience. These run either from early evening to the early hours of the morning when you will be driving around some of the nicer parts of the capital city of England -London or during the day when you will get out into the countryside in the home counties and enjoy a pub lunch on your travels. This costs just less than £500 for a couple.

Go on-give it a go!
