If you have an interest in classic cars or cars in general then you might like to consider visiting the British Motor Museum. It claims to have the largest collection of historic cars from Britain anywhere in the world. There are over 400 vehicles on display so that should keep you occupied.
There are numerous makes of car on display including Ford, Morgan, Austin, Triumph, Morris, Hillman, Leyland and Lotus. You can even view the vehicles online from anywhere in the world.
You will be pleased to read that included in the price of your ticket there are even free museum tours that take place 2 times a day with each tour lasting 45 minutes. There are also a number of interactive family activities. You will also find that there are a number of special exhibitions and events taking place at various times of the year. The museum is suitable for both young and old so makes an ideal place to visit for families. It provides a great history of the motor industry in Britain.
The Archive gives you access to historic images, documents and film relating to what people did and achieved who worked in the motor industry in Britain.

The museum is open 7 days a week excluding 24th to 27th December and 31st December to 1st January. Opening hours are from 10am to 5pm in the Museum and 11am to 5pm in the Collections Centre.
The address is the British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire CV35 0BJ. It is just off Junction 12 of the M40.
There are a variety of ticket options available with it being cheaper to buy tickets in advance online. For instance, an adult ticket is £17 in advance but £20 on the day. A ticket for a child age 5 to 16 is £9 in advance but £10 on the day. Under 5s are free. There are also concessionary tickets for unemployed, students, adults aged 60 years plus and personnel from the services including the NHS with tickets in advance costing £15 and £18 on the day. There are also family tickets available.
