Should you be considering purchasing a classic car, whether it be for the very first time or to add to your collection of cherished cars, why not take a look at Mathewsons website and see a huge number of lots for their forthcoming online auction that takes place over three days from Wednesday 15th April 2026 to Friday 17th April 2026 commencing at 10am each day. If you fancy driving around on a delightful summer’s day in an open-topped sports car then why not take a look at a two seater 1955 Triumph TR2 that comes with an estimated sale price of £10,000 to £12,000. At the time of writing, there has been a bid of £8,500. As can be seen from the photographs it does appear to look great. Imagine the wind passing through your hair as you venture out into the countryside. Apparently, it had new tyres and wheels fitted around twelve months ago.
You don’t come across Ford Anglia classic cars much these days so why not peruse a 1967 Ford Anglia Super. It has an estimated sale price of between £7,500 to £8,500 and as at the time of writing this post there have been no bids. It has an 1198cc engine and its bodywork is in Harry Potter Blue. It has an electronic ignition and is fitted with Milton Shock Absorbers. Worth a look.
Those of you with a lower budget who like sports cars may like to look at a 1964 MG Midget that has an estimated sale price of between £3,000 to £4,000. As at the time of us putting pen to paper here, there have been no bids. It comes with a 1098cc engine. A nice looking two seater open topped classic sports car. The seating and bodywork are in a darkish blue.
How about a two door 1969 Morris Minor 1000 that has an estimated sale price of between £1,500 to £2,000. There has already been a bid of £1,200. Its bodywork is in a green colour. It comes with a 1,098cc engine. It has light green seating and appears to have a sunroof.
How about something very different – a bubble car. A 1962 Trojan 603 LHD comes with an estimated sale price of between £7,000 to £8,000. As at the time of publishing this post there have been no bids. It comes with a 200cc engine. It is said to have had a full bolt and nut restoration between 2004 and 2007. It is even said to have spent some time on the Shetland Isles. Included in the sale is a galvanized trailer that has been custom built.
